BioYou have (probably) unwittingly stumbled across the livejournal of your average overachieving foreign language student. For the few of you who might actually be interested (ha!), my most proficient secondary language is Spanish, followed by German and Japanese, respectively. After I finish this final cumbersome semester of my last required general education classes, I'll be transferring to Eastern Michigan University (EMU, also known as the giant, flightless bird) in Fall 2007. I'm planning on majoring in Linguistics with a double-emphasis in Spanish and Japanese. After college, I'm going to try to get into a fun little thing known as the JET Programme, where I'll be able to teach English to Japanese students (in, you guessed it, Japan) for a couple of years. When I get back, I want to get a goverment job... doesn't that sound like fun? It does to me, anyway.
